VIRTUAL MEET-UPS SCHEDULE
As a service to our members and to world language teachers in Ohio, we invite you to join the Ohio Department of Education world languages team and OFLA for a series of Virtual Meet-ups for K-12 world language educators.
ODE and OFLA would like to provide a positive, helpful and supportive place for our teachers to virtually gather throughout the week. These Meet-ups will give teachers a chance to ask questions, as well as network with other world language teachers to share ideas, encouragement and support for navigating our distance learning environment.
How to Join the World Language Meet-up:
Visit the schedule below for the dates and times of our Virtual Meet-ups.
Each Meet-up is limited to 300 participants; pre-registration is not available.
At the appropriate time, click the Zoom link to join the Meet-up. There is no cost involved and you do not need a Zoom account to participate.
Participants can either talk via computer mic, type in the chat box, or just listen.
The Meet-ups will be open for one hour. You don’t have to stay the whole time.
Whereas ODE and OFLA will help facilitate the discussion as needed, the Meet-ups are intended to be an open forum for positive conversation and sharing among teachers.
